BESICHTIGUNG

The performance "Besichtigung", which was first performed at the exhibition "Strange Homes", caricatured the procedure of viewing apartments. The artist drove up to the locked exhibition space in a flashy car. With plenty of attitude and typical realtor sayings, the visitors, equipped with shoe covers, were led through the exhibition, humorously incorporating exhibition architecture and artworks into the tour. At the end, the visitors filled out a tenant questionnaire that both exaggerated typical questions and posed poetic questions regarding their own relationship to the topic of "housing."
